Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the effective and efficient delivery of Software, Firmware, and Controls as part of a cross-functional Product Development team, collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems teams.
- Interact with Deployment Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Support Services, and other key stakeholders to define and deliver project goals aimed at improving performance, reducing cost, and minimizing installation cycle time.
- Partner cross-functionally to support solution development and integration, requiring experience with hardware/software integration.
- Triage, prioritize, and execute against incoming requests from the field for product engineering support.
- Drive consensus on technical decisions and ensure appropriate resources are employed to deliver high-quality results.
- Lead partnerships between software, firmware, controls, hardware engineering, product management, and systems engineering to develop and decompose comprehensive functional requirements.
- Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at the program level.
- Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
- Develop and drive project schedules.
- Drive programs across disciplines including Software, Controls, Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Safety, Regulatory, and HW Test Engineering.
- Partner with groups external to the program team to successfully deliver on project goals.
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience.
- 7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 3 years of software development experience.
- 5 years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- 5 years of experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk and critical path management.
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams and building sustainable processes.
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to sr leadership.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $145000.00/hr.
